Here at Derry Road Animal Hospital, we carry a number of flea and tick preventatives year round!

Both flea and ticks thrive in warmer weather, which is why we encourage you to stay updated on your flea and tick preventatives roughly from April to September. Preventative care is far less expensive than dealing with Fleas, after that your home can be subject to flea eggs, larva and feces. Plus, the damage caused by Fleas can cause things like Tapeworm, and diseases which can easily be avoided.
